Teen Weight Room Certification Class
For ages 11-13 years old, earn your Teen Weight Certification at the RAC!
Details:
- 1-hour class led by a certified personal trainer Hands-on instruction on proper equipment use and form to prevent injuries.

Must complete to workout with an Adult Member 18 years and older. Please note that the Adult Member must supervise their child and must always be in the same room as them.
- Cost $25
- Class Schedule: The 2nd Monday of each month from 11am-12pm and the 4th Wednesday of each month from 7pm-8pm.

Inclement Weather Policy: In the event of severe or inclement weather and/or if the Twinsburg City School District or the Aurora City School District closes for severe/inclement weather, all Reminderville Athletic Club scheduled classes, programs, and administrative and operational meetings will be canceled to ensure the safety of our members, guests, and staff. This information will be communicated via the RAC website, text alert system, and social media outlets. The facility will remain open during regular operating hours unless otherwise stated as the Reminderville Athletic Club is a designated warming center for the residents of the City of Reminderville. The 24/7 Access will remain available to members 18 years and older. Members are encouraged to use their best judgement when deciding to visit. Please use extreme caution if you must be outdoors.

Fitness Classes
Senior Classic
Have fun and move to the music through a variety of exercises designed to increase muscle strength, range of movement, and activities for daily living.
Chair Yoga
Yoga movements are performed with a chair for stability in this 1-hour class. Poses and flow promote balance, strength, and flexibility while breath and relaxation bust stress.
Wellness Yoga
Yoga poses practiced standing and seated on choice of chair or mat to enhance flexibility, strength, balance and mindfulness. This hybrid approach allows all levels to participate, with the support of a chair as helpful. Class concludes with breathwork and guided relaxation. 1 hour class.
Beginner TRX (Must have a TRX Demo Class, before taking this class)
We’ll focus on proper alignment in basic exercises. Combining core strengthening, balance, and proper breathing using stability and vector principles. Great class if you have difficulty getting up and down from the floor.
Intermediate TRX (Must have a TRX Demo Class, before taking this class)
Focuses on proper alignment in basic exercises with increased challenges, in strength and endurance. Combining core strengthening, balance, and proper breathing using stability and vector principles. Adding simple props such as hand weights, body disc, Thera-band. WITH a floor/mat routine.
Senior TRX: (Need a TRX demo class before taking this class!) ( Register at Front Desk)
This 45 minute TRX Suspension Training Class is designed for seniors. This class is a full body workout that will build lean muscle, increase cardio endurance, and improve balance and flexibility. Come have fun and be challenged. All exercises can be modified for accessibility. To pre-register click the link at the top of the page.
TRX Blast: (Must have a TRX demo class before taking this class!)
Come have Fun and be Challenged during this 45-minute TRX suspension training class. Full body workout that will build lean muscle, burn fat, increase cardio endurance and improve flexibility. All exercises can be modified for you to get the results you want!!
Zumba
Latin inspired cardio-dance workout that uses music and choreographed steps to form a fitness party atmosphere. It is low-intensity and high-intensity moves for an interval style, calorie - burning fitness party! You can burn 500-1000 calories in a 1 hour class!
Senior Strength Elite
This class will focus on cardio endurance, toning muscle, and building overall strength. This is a bit more challenging than Silver Classic and will not use a chair, but mats and other Silver Sneakers equipment will be used.
Total Body Tone
This Class focuses on both large and small muscle groups. Individuals will use body weight, resistance bands and dumbbells to reach those hard to work places. This workout will include balance work for stabilizing muscles and isolated core work to improve abdominal strength.
Cycling
Cycle is a fun Spin class that uses music and tempo along with resistance or a flat road, to encourage riders and help improve cardiovascular endurance, muscular strength, joint stability, and mental wellness. Riders are in control of their resistance knob and this class is suitable for all fitness levels!
Strength, Cardio, Core
Have fun with this fun-filled action-packed workout! This workout combines great low-impact cardio, challenging strength moves, and intense core workout. This is an interval format changing the focus after each exercise. This class is for all ages and fitness levels!!
Aqua Zumba
Aqua Zumba is a water-based workout that combines Zumba with traditional aqua fitness exercises. It's a low-impact, high-energy class that's suitable for people of all skill levels. Aqua Zumba classes typically include, dance moves, rhythms, and resistance training.Aqua Zumba classes are fun and exciting, and you can expect to get a cardio-conditioning and body toning workout without putting too much impact on your joints. (SEASONAL CLASS)
Aqua Fitness
Aqua fitness is a low-impact, high-energy workout in a pool, using the water's resistance to build strength, improve cardiovascular health, and enhance flexibility. With a variety of exercises, such as water aerobics, tabata drills, resistance training, and stretching, easy to follow for everyone and makes this class accessible to people of all fitness levels.The class is set to upbeat music, creating a fun, motivating environment for all participants.
Barre/Cardio Barre
Using a ballet barre, light weights, bands and a Pilates ball, this class incorporates isometric strength training and targets all muscle groups. Includes some cardio movements with non-jumping options to lift the heart.
Barre Stretch
A ballet barre, light weights, and bands, this class incorporates isometric strength training and targets all muscle groups. This class provides a deeper stretch and more stretching will be incorporated in the last 15 min of class.
Barbell Beats
Music driven, full-body workout using a barbell, bench, and dumbbells. Perfect for building muscular strength and endurance and sculpts lean, defined muscles. Routines are music inspired and incorporate different tempos to the beat throughout the class.
Pound
POUND is a full-body workout that combines cardio, conditioning, and core work with simulated drumming using Ripstix to strike the beat of the music, which releases tension and mixes sound and movement. Designed for all fitness levels, ages, and abilities, you’ll strengthen and sculpt muscles, improve range of motion and flexibility, and burn calories.
Kettlebell AMPD
This class combines great music with simple, effective kettlebell movements into a calorie-torching workout that is fun, safe and accessible to all fitness levels! The benefits of Kettlebell Training is that it increases strength, improves conditioning and endurance, increases metabolic rate, functional movements, improves stability and balance and promotes versatility.
Pilates
This energizing workout incorporates a floor and standing core combination workout that blends the benefits of both standing and floor-based exercises to target the entire core. Pilates movements will target core activation, diving deep into the upper and lower abdominals along with a focus on hip mobility and lower body strength and endurance. The standing portion enhances stability, balance, and functional strength with dynamic movements. This full-body approach improves core strength, posture, and overall athletic performance, offering variety and challenge for all fitness levels, and ultimately a full body workout, with a stretch using bands at the end!
On the Rebound
A mini trampoline class (also known as rebounding) is a fun, low-impact workout that takes place on a small, individual trampoline. These classes combine cardiovascular exercise, balance exercises and more to give participants a full-body workout while minimizing the stress on the joints. This class is lots of fun, music driven, core focused and strength training with light dumbbells is also included! Spots are limited for this class. MAX 10 participants, registration not required. Spots will be provided on a first come, first serve basis.
BARBELL BOOTCAMP
This Cardio Strength Bootcamp workout is a high-intensity and modifiable, full-body workout that combines cardiovascular exercises with strength training moves. It’s designed to improve both endurance and muscle strength simultaneously, offering an efficient way to burn fat, build muscle, and increase overall fitness.
Circl' Mobility
Circl’ mobility is a fitness class that focuses on improving overall mobility and flexibility. Exercises are designed to mimic everyday motions and improve ability to perform daily activities with ease. Breathing techniques are incorporated to enhance relaxation and body awareness. It helps to reduce tension and stiffness. Plus it is set to custom produced music that not only sets relaxing tone but incorporates special beats proven to improve focus and reduce stress. Classes are suitable for people of all fitness levels with available modifications and open to all ages.
Chair One Pilates
The Chair One Fitness and Pilates Class is a super fun chair-based dance fitness program with activities of daily living incorporated into all our cool dance moves. It also includes exercises to strengthen core, arms, and legs using bands and light weights. For all levels. We are not only keeping people moving, but smiling too!
Kettlebell Kickboxing
Kettlebell Kickboxing is a high-energy group fitness class that blends kickboxing , boxing and mixed martial arts movements with music to create a fully-body, non-contact workout suitable for all fitness levels. It emphasizes fun and empowerment through cardiovascular conditioning, powerful combos, and choreographed routines set to motivating music. The kettlebell adds an element of strength training and movements through music! Medium to high intensity.
Balance, Bar and Core
Low impact class with exercises focused on core strength, balance and toning exercises on the bar.
Strength and Stretch
30-40 minutes of focused strength by muscle groups followed by an extensive stretching session.
Cardio Pilates
Cardio Pilates is a high-energy, low-impact class that merges traditional Pilates core-strengthening exercises with fast-paced cardiovascular movements. Light dumbbells, bands and Pilates balls will be used. This class is suitable for all levels.
